Dr. Buttross obtained a master’s degree in clinical psychology from Texas A&M University in Corpus Christi, Texas, and a Ph.D. in clinical psychology, with a specialization in neuropsychology, from California School of Professional Psychology in Fresno, California.
After completing a one-year internship in clinical neuropsychology at Baycrest Centre for Geriatric Care in Toronto, Ontario, she completed a two-year postdoctoral residency in the neuropsychology clinic at INTEGRIS Jim Thorpe Rehabilitation at Southwest Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She became a licensed clinical psychologist in the state of Oklahoma (#985) in 2005. She was employed at NeuroResources, PLLC in Oklahoma City until October 2019. During that time, she also became licensed in the state of Texas (#37816).
She made the decision to return to Corpus Christi, Texas, in order to open her own clinical practice, Coastal Bend Neuropsychology, PLLC. Her primary clinical interests include adult and geriatric neuropsychology, with an emphasis on memory problems and disorders of aging.
